First of all, those who have been posting information on this blog are doing a good job 🙂 There is a lot of useful information that can add to our class discussions and cover some aspects of the new media world that are not mentioned in your readings. Some of this information might even help you to prepare for the course exams.
From now on, I will ask you to relate your posts to the readings you have to complete every week. Here is what you need to do.
0. Find interesting information online that is related to the weekly class topic and readings 🙂 Check the syllabus to be up to date.
1. Post your information in any form (comment, image, video, link to an article, etc.) and briefly describe what it is about. You don’t have to describe an image if it is obvious. You don’t have to describe your comment. However, a long video or an article from a different website might need a brief summary so that the blog readers get an idea of what it is about. Specify the source.
2. Tell how your post reflects a weekly class topic and, importantly, is related to the readings assigned for the week. Yes, please, show that you did the readings 🙂
3. Provide your thoughts on the issue/problem.
No need to ask discussion questions at the end. Instead, answer them yourself.
Last but definitely not least: Always specify sources of information if they are not obvious. If you are using a quote verbatim, then put it in quotation marks and cite the source. Try to use credible sources for better quality information.
