The internet cannot create democracy and a better world; it just can be utilized to get that somewhat utopian world. I believe that internet-centrism can create change; it is how the Egyptian revelation prevailed. The Egyptian people used Facebook and Twitter to communicate how to achieve, overthrow the regime, not what do. I believe that the internet can be politically beneficial if it was used as a tool of communication not as a tool to simply debate. Action can make change not debating on a Facebook group.
Maybe some people can create action through sending specific messages, as having a mind-washing impact, they can change believes and then cause others to take action. However, in this case those people -who seek to communicate their believes and persuade others- must have strong appeal to others. They must be trustworthy and dominant individuals in the society. Therefore, an amateur internet user cannot simply generate change or call for democratic change.
